today we gave annabel a bath and had a brand new tub to use. well, maybe not technically brand new. our neighbors used this tub for their new baby but she recently outgrew it. so we got to give it a try. it was ahhhhhhh-mazing! it still took a minute or two to get her situated and comfortable but once she was in it she was happy as a clam. we're not sure exactly what made the biggest difference but this one was a little smaller, she was sitting up instead of laying down and she was in the kitchen sink... whatever it was it seemed to work. it made her happy and made us happy. sounds like a win-win-win... :)
between bath time, going to mass this morning and having a bunch of people over tonight to play board games, annabel had a busy day. maybe that's why she was in bed by 930pm instead of her usual 1130pm. i guess we'll know this morning around 400am whether this was a good idea but it was nice to put her to bed and have a little while all to ourselves to unwind and relax. but now its bedtime for annabel's parents...so good night. :)
